What is Alz Café?
Alz Café Wolverhampton is a bi-monthly gathering for people with memory difficulties, along with their families and friends. It offers a safe, welcoming environment where everyone can spend time together in the company of others who understand their situation.
Supported by friendly volunteers, some with health or social care backgrounds, the café aims to provide emotional support, reduce isolation, and create opportunities to socialise and have fun.
Our Events
We run two main events: coffee mornings and evening gatherings. All our events are free to attend, aside from an optional raffle at the evening café, which has a small charge—there’s no obligation to take part.

Evening Events
The evenings start with an informal chat with others over a hot or cold drink. Then time to enjoy live music and entertainment during which everyone is encouraged to either dance, sing-a-long or interact in any way they wish. Supper is always provided and includes fish & chips, buffet, hot pork baps, jacket potatoes or soup and sandwiches.
Getting to us
All of our events are held at: Penn United Reformed Church, 333 Penn Rd, Wolverhampton WV4 5QF
By Car - We have a large free car park onsite at the rear of the church.
By Bus - The church is situated on a number of bus routes, please check West Midlands journey planner for more information.
